Quarterly Newsletter - Winter 2010
Being headquartered in Vancouver has its advantages! The Economist recently named Vancouver the "World's Most Livable City" and the recent Winter Olympics gave us the perfect setting to show off our city and all of Canada's obsession with hockey!
With respect to business, we've had lots going on at Lasso. Some great new features have recently been released:
- Lasso Template Library - this is the start of something big! Do you need some ideas on template design? Check out our template library. There are 10 templates to start and we'll be adding a few more each month. We welcome your suggestions. Learn more...
- Campaigns - Now you can create email campaigns within Lasso and track the success. Learn more...
- Usability - One of our guiding principles is to have 'Lasso work like you do' in the homebuilding industry. Over the course of next few months, you'll notice subtle but significant enhancements focused on the user experience as we continue to evolve from recent innovations in technology and your valuable feedback. There's a Feature for That . . . |
| Many of us are quite accustomed to hearing "there's an app for that" when it comes to iPods and iPhones. This section is completely dedicated to highlighting some pretty cool things you can do with Lasso . . . that you just may not be aware of! |
 |
- Do you have an upcoming event scheduled? Did you know that you can use Lasso's Self-Serve Registrant Update feature to automatically track your response rate?
- Do you want to track the effectiveness of your Pay-Per-Click advertising? Take advantage of Lasso's Client-Hosted Registration pages and create multiple registration pages to track the true source of your leads.
- Did you know you can receive notification of new leads on your PDA and in Outlook? Speak to your Client Director to learn how to integrate Lasso email with Outlook.
|
If you're interested in any of the above features, your Client Director is happy to help you get going. Contact Lasso Client Support for more information. Lasso updates are released weekly. Please take time to read the Release Notes that explain more about the new features in each release. Cool Technology:
When we find a cool new technology, we like to share. We have an area devoted to this on our blog. Most of these technologies are free; some require a small fee. Here are a few that we like:
- Snagit - an ability to capture images and web pages easily and then edit them very quickly. A great tool when creating images for email templates.
- Colorzilla - want to match a web colour exactly? This Firefox add-on is the tool to use. It adds an eyedropper to the bottom left corner of Firefox.
- Eyejot - Mike Lyon recommended this application during his recent webinar. A cool app to create a video e-message to your prospects and clients.
